How to Use Custom Size Brochures to Your Advantage

Custom size brochures are one of the best ways to advertise and market a product or service that you offer. Not only will custom size brochures pique the interest of your readers, they are also able to grab and hold the attention of your audience – allowing for a better and more successful marketing strategy.

Your brochures should always give way to what your customers want and the effect that you want to achieve. In order to make successful brochures, you need to follow these basic tenets – regardless of your design.

1. Stay fresh. Stay recent.
Always use the most recent pictures or photos of the products and services that you offer. Do not put in old photos your products because it will not represent the full extent of your products and services. Here are other reasons why your pictures should be always updated:

-    Pictures give audiences the ability to easily recall your product and services. The better picture that you choose, the better representation you get.
-    When you choose the right pictures for your brochure, place it in the front cover of your brochure and generate an impact with your prospective clients.
-    Fresh photos give your materials a sense of originality and veers away from the stale, the old and the boring advertisements that abound in today’s marketing industries.

2. Give your exact location
It is easy to forget to include the address of your establishment. With the myriad of elements that you can place in your brochures, you sometimes do not see the importance of this element. Put the complete address and if you can, place a map that will guide your readers to your place. People will be more important when there are directions that they can follow.

3. Never forget your contact details
Also, put in your website, e-mail address and contact numbers so that if they want to inquire they would know where to contact you. Also, make it a point that you have a call to action and that you need to state the means of communication that you prefer.

4. Don’t forget your amenities or other value added services
If your space can handle it, you can include the amenities and other value added services that you offer.  Yes, your brochure must focus on a single product. However, you can use the extra space that you have in order to tease and give a glimpse of other services that you offer.

5. Provide a little background
A little background about your product is necessary to have a sense of security and identity. The fact that you are willing to give a little more information about your product gives you more credibility and the audience will be at ease with you.

However, avoid giving backgrounds about your company and stick with the product that you are marketing. Remember that your brochures are about the product and not about your company. Long histories of companies and corporations bore the audience and make them disinterested.
