Cheap New Era Hats, Far More Than A Cap

There are a lot of hip-pop, R&B celebrities and fashionable people are wearing New Era Hats no matter the occasion is. We can also see that numerous international famous brands are in cooperation with New Era brand to launch joint products. New Era not only merely represents a hat brand.

In 1920, Ehrhardt Koch formally established a hat company called E Koch Cap Co of only 14 employees in Buffalo in New York, which was officially renamed New Era Company in 1922. In 1932, the company designed its first version of baseball cap and then gained the exclusive authority to provide the professional baseball for Cleveland Indians. This was the first team that they supplied. By the forties of the twentieth century, New Era had become a company exclusively providing caps for many professional baseball teams. In the following, it began to intensely compete with such brands as Wilson, Spalding, Rawlings, etc.. In the late forties, New Era mainly manufactured the hat with adjustable devices. In 1954, they combined Brooklyn style and re-designed the shape and color matching of hat, renaming this series 59Fifty. In 1965, monster energy hats has become a cap company which provided caps to 10 baseball association teams. In 1969, New Era designed a unique “closed” hat in that time and in 1974 they solely provided caps to 20 to 24 baseball association teams. In the beginning of the eighties of the twenties century, New Era could not only provide team caps for 23 MLB teams, they also got vast orders coming from schools, local enterprises, international baseball teams and golf teams, etc..

In 1986, New Era introduced a cap called the MLB Diamond Collection to the American Major League Baseball, and sold to the public. This was very successful and it even became a fashionable trend at that time to match whatever clothes with New Era hat. In 1993, DC Shoes Hats completely defeated its competitive rival at that time, and it was awarded the exclusive supplier certificate by USA professional baseball alliance.

Spike Lee, a famous America black director, personally asked New Era to design a entire red baseball cap with writing “New York Yankees” in white, what made New Era more famous. In the streets of the U.S., no matter what are the adults or children, men or women, all the trades will see the figure wearing New Era hats.

In 2006, New Era Cap Company transferred its headquarters from Buffalo suburb to the central busy section. In May 2006, New Era’s first flagship store was opened in SOHO of New York City. In November 2006, its second flagship store was set in Buffalo, the March 2007, New Era not only was strict demand to design, and also had courage to create a new design. In the turns of cap material, on the basis of 100% pure wool, the company induced 100% terylene with excellent property as raw material. This stand for their first great change after 20 years’ traditional processing technology. In the spring of 2007, New Era’s third flagship store was opened in London. In August 2007, New Era’s flagship stores were successively opened in Toronto, Queen Street West, Atlanta, Berlin, Birmingham, Japan, and South Korea.

From 1996 when New Era Cap was used by Spike Lee (the renowned black director) in film, New Era cap (as a product) started to enter in people’s daily life, and it even indicated a kind of culture and popular tendency.
