Loose fitting clothes, regular visits to the clothing store or the tailor, they have a way of sapping the joy out of our lives don’t they? Well, no need to fear; with the perfect fit button currently in the market, its all a matter of seconds to get your clothes to fit you perfectly even after festivities have seen you add a few inches to your waist line or the economic downturn has done the reverse.

It comes with two major pluses: it is not sewn onto your clothes but very easily fixed – one major disappointment that comes with sewing is that there is a chance the button will end up on the wrong spot and you have to redo it or it ends up not looking so neat; the perfect fit button is also reusable, meaning you could easily transfer the same set from one item of clothing to another.

It is an easy solution for those with a habit of losing buttons and comes in a set with different buttons suited for different fabrics. It attaches itself pretty tight to the cloth so there is little chance of falling off. It also helps mums who like to buy children’s clothes a size bigger so that they serve longer, at least now you can make the waist fit the little one.
However, great as this idea is, the designs of some of them have got buyers screaming foul. Some say that the metal pin on the reverse side of it does not feel too comfortable on the tummy, others have had problems removing them, sometimes having to break the perfect fit button apart using pliers.Let’s hope that improvements will be made on the design because the perfect fit button may yet be the most sensible addition to anyone’s closet.
