ASICS has profound history. In 2009, we not only celebratein the modern day sporting industry , but also celebrate the life and achievements of an unusual men. ASICS founder Kihachiro Onitsuka is a survivor of war who helping youth become better members of society . He felt that sport is best and the most effective way to achieve it . so he embarked upon his unbelievable journey .

Onitsuka/ASICS story is beginning in 1949. Mr Onitsuka is a pioneer of making sports shoes . After lots of trial and error, he still be failed , so he consult a coach from leading high school basketball . The coach told Mr. Onitsuka that need to research and learn more about the basket ball sport for making a style shoes to be fitting or suitable basketball sport. So he did . Not long afterward, the high school team which wore Onitsuka’s shoes won the championship long .

ASICS,  is well known to a global sports enthusiasts, as early as 1949, pioneer kihachiro ONITSUKA, in Japan of  Kobe family factory make  the first pair of basketball shoes, constantly research and learn more about running shoes and sport products. so  he had created ONITSUKA TIGER, since the 1956 Olympic Games begin, the  style of sports shoes which have been  loved and respected  by athletes throughout the world.
Brand Spirit:
  ASICS name from the famous Latin motto “Anima Sana in Corpore Sano”, and by amalgamation of  their the first letter of each words  . This maxim means “healthy and strong body breeds a healthy mind”, which is also ASICS entrepreneurial spirit.
