A Crazy Chasing after Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant will visit China! This is really a piece of amazing news! Now fans from everywhere are discussing the schedule of Kobe, and everyone is eager for the day to see their idol closely.

Why these people are so crazy about meeting Kobe Bryant? Not only because he is the superstar of NBA in the Unites States, but also because he conquers his fans by his courage, ambition and power.

I am among one of the big fans for years. I never understand why people around me are so addicted to basketball until I meet with Kobe. I was impressed by his confidence and skills by the first sight on the NBA playground. He made me stronger whenever I encountered the problems or I was depressed. Yes, he is not only an idol, but my model to fight, to keep going on.

So, I have made a decision that I need to see Kobe personally at least one time in my life. Thank God, he is coming! In order to make this journey successful, I have done a lot of homework. What I will use to describe this experience is just one word, crazy.

There were no tickets sold for the fan meeting this time and I tried all kinds of ways I can think of in the attempt to get one. I asked my friends and my classmates for help to see if they have any ideas or ways to get a ticket for me. I also made an enquiry to the name brand store which Kobe represents, hoping that they may have the accession to Kobe’s fan meeting. I even queued up in the official site of Kobe. To my disappointment, none of these worked.

With my years of experience of running after Kobe, I have summarized some patterns for his trip when holding a meeting. The sponsor would arrange the site one or two days ahead of the time. So I went to several places which would be possibly be the suitable sites for this kind of meeting, such as the squares, the gymnasiums and the universities. After days of searching, there was still no sign of Kobe. Oh, God! I was near the edge of being crazy!

At the very time when I was really tired and dispirited, a friend of mine named Nick informed me with a piece of  inspiring news. He told me that a campaign called “looking for Kobe” was going on in the city. It was said that a gift was the keyword of this campaign. And the person who guessed out what the gift was would have the ticket in the front row. This message lighted my hope again and I started another round of hunting.

On that very night, I was surfing on the Internet, in the hope that I can get some clues about this magical gift. After hours of searching, I still had not any ideas. I decided to watch some videos about the NBA games to have myself relaxed. Seeing the beautiful dunking made by Kobe is really a great enjoyment. Suddenly, the polo shirt caught my attention. Then an idea came to my mind: was it possible that the gift was just the polo shirt Kobe wore? Maybe I took the matter too complicated before. If it indeed was the possibly right gift, what I needed to do next was just to buy one and send it to the sponsor and, this was quite easy for me. I was so excited and can not wait even one minute for that moment when I can have Kobe in front of my view!

I mailed out the polo shirt bought from that website the next morning, and guess what? I got the ticket and I finally realized my dream to see Kobe in China! You know what? He is kinder and more handsome than I have watched on the TV. This crazy chasing had its happy ending at last.
