Bamboo Clothing – Symbol of Comfort and Style

Bamboo is the latest and hottest sustainable eco-fabric that has become the essential part of the today’s fashion industry because of its luxurious softness, smooth hand, flowing and gentle drape and easy price. Bamboo is actually a tropical grass, from which the fabric is created from pulp. The bamboo fiber fabric production flow is: bamboo -> thick pulp -> fine pulp -> bamboo fiber -> bamboo yarn -> fabric. The fabric is bleached without the use of chlorine. Bamboo fabric is easy to dye and is done so without the use of harsh chemicals and using methods which use less water than conventional dyeing methods. It is perfect for clothing, towels and sheets. A super absorbent fiber, bamboo wicks away moisture from the skin, making it one of the most comfortable fabrics around, keeping you dry and odour free. Pure bamboo clothes can dry twice as fast as cotton clothes and can be worn all year round as they keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. As soft as silk, and with a similar drape, organic bamboo garments are more practical because they are durable and much less expensive and versatile.

Bamboo clothing has a soft, natural sheen that is easy to care for and needs no bleach or fabric softener. Bamboo t-shirts are very popular because of their thermal regulating, anti-fungal and anti-static characteristics which keep wearer cool, dry, odor free and comfortable, rather than sticky, in hot weather.
