With changing seasons,  its time to look in your wardrobe and see whether its time to upgrade your suit.  Ask any female Bondi Beach Babe ( www.BondiBeachBabes.com.au ), and they and they will let you know, that guys look “hot”in suits.

Suits not only look good, but are also very flattering and hide all those wobbly bits men have. They make men look taller and slimmer. For those of us who don’t have any suits at the moment and are getting away with wearing a miss matched jacket with trousers,  I recommend that you invest in a suit that goes with everything, and that you will get allot of use out of.  A plain dark navy and/or charcoal  3 button suit is the best pick for the younger gentleman, and a 2 button for the older gentleman. These colors can be easily dressed down after work with a simple addition of a unbutton check or plain shirt. The jacket if in dark navy can also double up as a blazer, and worn seperately with either jeans or stone/beige pants.

If you are looking to buy a suit, and plan dressing down the suit to wear in the evenings, it’s recommended you purchase the single breasted 2 or 3 button varieties.  Double breasted suits cannot be worn down, they are the power suit and stictly business.

For those of us guys who have got the basics covered, experiment a little and choose a suit that is textured or pinstripe.  There are many beautiful examples of these.  Check out Country Road, Oxford Shop & Industrie.  They have good example of these.

For those of us who have more cash to spend, you may want to consider the Herringbone brand featured here. Otherwise other designer labels are Armani, Prada and Zegna Suits. These suits are dearer because they tend to have luxurious wool blends, and their cuts are more tailored to your body shape.

In Spring, approaching Summer, a light weight suit in lighter colours, like a pale blue or light grey is an ideal.   These lightweights suits are ideal to wear during Spring Carnival Festivals.  When wearing the suit during Spring carnival its important to brighten up the look by wearing a shirt that is not bland, try a lemon or samon shirt with a matching tie.  You may also want to combine the look with brown shoes and a belt as compared to black shoes and a belt.

In Winter, look for a suit with a higher wool content, which will keep you warm like a super 100 or 200 suit.  Normally in winter you should aim for darker colors, like dark navy, grey and black.

So now armed with that knowledge, go forth, and conquer with your modern armour. Walk down that street with confidence and pride in your new suit and maybe you will also pick up a babe on the way.
